NeoFitoroid Bio Endorectal Ointment is a medical device, based on plant molecular complexes, which develops a soothing action, protecting the anorectal mucosa. Indicated to relieve pain, burning, itching, irritation and inflammation, symptoms that are associated with the development of internal and external hemorrhoids, the action of this endorectal ointment is due to a lyophilized extract - Helydol -, consisting of a purified lipophilic fraction of Helicriso, Aloe Vera, Holly and Vegetable and Essential Oils, which soothes irritation and protects the mucosa, acting through 3 mechanisms of action:

• Mucoadhesive, since it adheres to the mucosa, creating a film with a barrier effect that protects it from contact with irritating agents.

• Lubricant, since it reduces friction with feces, acting against irritation and perianal congestion.

• Antioxidant, since it protects the mucosa from the harmful effect of free radicals.

In addition to these characteristics, this product creates an adverse environment for the growth of microorganisms, developing not only an additional protective action but also an anti-itching effect. Its refreshing properties provide quick relief of symptoms present in the case of hemorrhoids, thanks to a mechanism of action that doesn't irritate or dry the mucosa and free of corticosteroids or anesthetics.

This ointment can be used during periods of pregnancy and breastfeeding and in case of anal fissures.
