Octiset is indicated for the preparation of mucous membranes and skin before diagnosis and surgical procedures in the genital region and anus.
It is also indicated as an antiseptic for the oral cavity and as a complementary treatment in mycoses between the fingers (for example athlete's foot).
Microbiological Effectiveness
octiset® is effective against bacteria including chlamydia and mycoplasmas, fungi and yeasts, protozoa (trichomonas), viruses (Herpes simplex, HBV, HCV and HIV).
Unless otherwise indicated, Octiset should be applied over the area to be treated, ensuring a complete distribution of the product.
1 ml of solution contains 1 mg of octenidine dihydrochloride and 20 mg of phenoxyethanol. List of excipients: Cocamidopropyl betaine (consisting of: dimethylammonioacetate, sodium chloride, water), sodium gluconate, 85% glycerol, 10% sodium hydroxide solution, purified water.
